Guided Tours of Pensdale II and Adult Day Services

4:30 – 5:00 and 6:00 – 6:30

 

 

Help us celebrate the grand opening of the new homes of our broad range of resources and programs for older adults: 

 

  • The Center at Journey’s Way, our senior community center
  • Pensdale Village II, Roxborough’s second affordable apartments for seniors
  • Adult Day Services Center, providing supports for frail older adults and their caregivers

 

The event will feature Celebrate Arts & Aging” Showcase of creative arts and demonstrations, and is the kickoff event for a region-wide arts festival in celebration of Older American’s Month sponsored by Philadelphia Corporation for Aging and Phillyfunguide.  Details available at www.pcacares.org/SeniorArt.

 

Remarks will be made by dignitaries, including keynote address from the Pennsylvania Secretary of Aging.  Guests will be treated to tours of the new facilities and a light reception after the ribbon cutting.
