Philadelphia, PA   19128
Telephone: 215-754-0126

Pensdale Village is a 65 unit apartment community for independent  adults, 62 years and older who meet income and asset eligibility set by federal guidelines.   Rent is set at 30% of income.   Social services are provided on site to assist the residents.

Pensdale Village was a renovation of an old mill funded by federal, state and City of Philadelphia funds as well as local donations and agency supported funds. The renovation has created a wonderful community with generous common areas that are used by the residents.

Currently, Pensdale Village is fully occupied and the waiting list is closed.

Pensdale II  Interac received funding in October 2007 from the Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Authority (PHFA) for state tax credits, state and  city funding to create a new building with 35 one and 3 two bedroom apartments that will have fixed, yet affordable rentals.   Construction is nearly completed and applications will be accepted starting Monday August 3, 9:30 a.m.
