Become A Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer!

Neighbor to Neighbor, an initiative of Journey’s Way, offers a special way for good-hearted community volunteers to assist older homeowners and renters in Roxborough-Manayunk-East Falls -- particularly people who have become isolated and have few supports of their own.

Volunteers provide free help to older neighbors in a variety of simple but useful ways. Consider being on standby to do one or all of them:

CHORE SERVICE:  Be available to do light chores, fix-up and seasonal cleaning, indoors or out.

RIDE SERVICE: Drive someone to her doctor’s office, or run occasional errands.

FRIENDLY VISITS: Be a phone buddy who checks in and chats. Pay an occasional visit.
