Adult Day Care at Journey's Way
PROGRAM:
The Adult Day Center at Journey’s Way offers:
- Stimulating and meaningful activities
- Physical and therapeutic exercise
- Nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks
- Quality personal care
- Nursing and Social Work services
- Medication management
- Individual and family counseling
Participants enjoy an active and meaningful day while families enjoy peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in a safe and secure environment.
ELIGIBILTY:
Participants of the Adult Day Center are people who would benefit from care provided in a socially stimulating home like environment, specifically:
- adults who due to dementia or physical challenges are lonely, frightened, isolated or at risk during the day
- Adult with medical problems who need routine monitoring of their health status, medications and diets
- Adult who need assistance with personal care
- Adults whose caregivers must work or who need a break from the constancy or demands of providing daily care.
STAFFING:
The Adult Day Center at Journey’s Way offers licensed and experienced staff including a Director, Nurse, Activity Coordinator, Social Worker and Program Assistants. All our staff has special training and are experts in providing quality care in a nurturing environment.
FAMILY SERVICES:
Providing care for someone who needs special attention can be both stressful and exhausting. Helping the family goes hand in hand with helping the individual participant. The Adult Day Center offers an ideal solution to supporting caregivers who want their loved one to remain at home yet need assistance managing the care at home, or need help navigating various resources and accessing service.
TRANSPORTATION:
We will help you access and utilize transportation services, if necessary..
FEES:
Our affordable rates include the cost of care and all nutritional services. Funding is often available through public sources or insurance if eligible. Half day and partial week services are also available.
THE HOURS:
The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 6 pm. Call us to arrange a personal tour or just stop in. See how we can address your specific needs.
